I traveled through Perú for five weeks. I was enchanted by its stunning natural sights, which varied from the dry coastal desert to the picturesque mountains and lush jungle. I found glassy waves and met wonderful people along the way.
It is the people I will remember the most, both locals and fellow travelers. They gave me warm welcomes, kindness, friendship, and sharp advice. It’s pretty amazing how quickly you can develop deep and meaningful connections when you aren’t bothered by studies, work, or other aspects of life back home. Along the way, I captured some of their faces, which eventually became this photography series.
